The 10th EALTA Conference, Istanbul, Turkey, 23rd-26th May 2013
The annual conference of the European Association for Language Testing and Assessment (EALTA) represents a major event in the calendar of the language testing community of Europe and beyond. Held in a different European city each year, it invariably attracts around 250 participants from over 30 countries in Europe, America and the Middle East.
This the 10th anniversary conference, which will take place at the Asker Muzesi, Harbiye, Istanbul, offers an expanded programme of more than 40 presentations and three pre-conference workshops on different aspects of language testing and assessment. There will also be two Special Interest Group meetings, one on assessing writing / academic purposes and another on classroom-based language assessment.
Participants at EALTA conferences usually include language teachers with an interest in testing and assessment, test developers and administrators, and full-time researchers in the field of language testing and educational measurement.
