School of Languages Organizes and Hosts Inter-University Debate

Sabancı University School of Languages held a debate with Üsküdar University, conducted in the Australian Parliamentary debate style. In this format, each team consists of three speakers, a first speaker, second speaker, and rebuttal speaker, who present structured arguments and responses within set time limits, while adjudicators assess content, organization, and delivery.
The adjudication panel from Sabancı University included Mine Gündüz Kartal and Selçuk Bilgin. Representing Sabancı University, Raman Askarzadeh, Farnam Rami, and Ahmet Kaan Koca spoke as the first, the second, and the rebuttal speakers.
Further debate events are planned with other universities as part of the ongoing public speaking and debate program.
