The SL attaches great importance to ongoing course evaluation and needs analysis in order to further develop its courses. To this end, instructors work in task groups and carry out systematic research to collect data from students (both in the SL and in their faculties), SL instructors and lecturers. This is done through on-line questionnaires, group interviews, and document analysis. The results obtained from these research studies are carefully examined and discussed by the SL group. Suggestions are prioritized for action and incorporated into the SL curriculum.
