The Re-search INSET aims to give instructors an opportunity to learn more about the nature and scope of a classroom and learner-based research, explore areas of interest and need in research, explore and try out a variety of processes for classroom research and engage in a small scale research study of practical value to teaching and learning with a view to enhancing teaching and learning processes and systematically incorporating classroom research into everyday teaching.
The Re-search INSET is offered as an 8-week program where participants are provided with input and hands-on practice on areas such as research design, tools, gathering and analyzing data, and so on. The INSET is offered to all SL instructors who are interested in learning more about doing research.
